Hey, everyone! Looks like it's about time for me to get out of here. I am leaving for training on Sunday. Don't worry, I'll be safe. Keep an eye on each other for me. I'll keep you updated as often as I can. Love you all.
Be back soon,
Josh

My Dearest Son, (Only one I have! LOL)
Josh as your time has drawn closer to leaving I have realized while our relationship hasn't always been perfect its been normal. LOL As your mom of course I will worry, but mostly love and pray for your safety and all the men you are with and that are over there. Words have boundaries and can't necessarily totally express all that I am feeling right now. But in their limited nature I want you to know that I love you greatly, and am so very proud of the man you have become. Your Christian faith, love for your wife, and caring for others is phenomenal. I love you with all I have, you are my son, a man who can do great things and come back home to all of us.
Love, Mom
Hey Josh ...
Just wanted you to know that we are saying lots of prayers for you, Ariel and your mom. Although we'll worry about you until the day you return, we know that you'll turn this experience into a positive one. Just think of all the insightful lessons and memories that you'll share with us, your children and your great-grandchildren some day!
May God bless you and watch over you and your fellow soldiers.
Love,
Frank, Jessie & Krista Baker

You have had my heart and prayers since you were born. You have and always will be special in God's eyes and to me (and many others). Thank you for serving our country, for keeping us safe. Protect your heart and your mind. Fill it with God's Word daily and especially minute to minute in time of stress/work. I pray that you will be a leader by example to your fellow soldiers and not bend to their pressure. God is Sovereign and knows the plans He has for you.
Ariel
You also are in my heart and prayers. You are a very special young woman with an inner strength that has grown so much in the past few years. Use that strength for the Lord in your community and church. Call on your God for an extra measure of strength - He will provide.
All My Love
Your Godmother
Dude!
Talked to Celeste this morning...sounds like things are going ok. Keep up the good work! Keeping you in my prayers...
Eric
